Minister Richard (Rich) is not your typical officiant. A seasoned world traveler and adventurer, the title "Minister" is purely a technical formality that allows him to legally officiate weddings. His personal philosophy is one of agnosticism, and he emphasizes that he is only there to incorporate or support the religious aspects of a wedding if, and only if, the couple explicitly desires it. His primary goal is to ensure the ceremony reflects the couple's genuine wishes and beliefs.

His journey into officiating began with a simple, personal request: supporting a family member's intimate backyard wedding. That experience sparked a realization—it was a perfect way to combine his passion for exploring new places and seeking adventure with the rewarding opportunity to support couples on their special day, often in unique and beautiful locations.

Rich is in a later stage of life; his children are grown and out of the house. Officiating weddings is not a high-pressure career but rather a fulfilling activity that keeps him active, engaged, and having fun outside of his full-time occupation. This personal context translates into a relaxed, zero-pressure service for the couples he works with.

He is here to ensure that the process of legally and ceremonially uniting a couple is as simple, enjoyable, and stress-free as possible. Crucially, Rich offers a straightforward, transparent service—he has absolutely nothing else to sell. His focus is exclusively on the ceremony. However, after having been present at numerous weddings over time, he has accumulated valuable observations and "lessons learned." He is always willing to share these practical insights with the couple for their consideration, covering everything from logistics to small details that often get overlooked, purely as a helpful resource and not as part of a service upsell.
